Santa Fe was the first SUV introduced on the market by Hyundai in 2000. At the next Geneva Motor Show the Korean House will present the fourth generation of the vehicle. In the meantime, however, it gives us an anticipation with the spread of the first official image . The light-colored teaser shows a more streamlined form of the SUV and a more aggressive front with new optical groups.
According to what the House reports, great attention has been paid to safety. The new Santa Fe generation offers a complete package of the most advanced active safety systems signed Hyundai Smart Sense .
The priority is safety
The innovative warning system that detects the presence of people on the sofa at the rear of the vehicle – Rear Occupant Alert – is a fundamental step forward for the entire automotive industry. This is a device conceived in the first instance to avoid forgetting a child on the car. An eventuality that has unfortunately caused several victims over the years.
On the New Santa Fe, moreover, the system of detecting possible rear impacts – Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning – comes boosted by the automatic braking. To avoid any risk of collision during a reversing maneuver in conditions of poor visibility, the system not only warns the driver, but applies the braking in automatic mode where necessary.
